Traditional Day

Traditional Day

Teachers Day was celebrated in the department of MBA, GLOBAL EDUCATION CENTRE on September 5, 2018. As part of the traditional day celebrations students not only participated in mehendi competitions but adorned the college with beautiful colors for rangoli competition. For the celebration, all the staff and students assembled in the seminar hall wherein Miss. Farhana Begum, a Second-year student, MBA, gave the audience a peek to the importance of a teacher in a student' life through her speech. This was followed by a speech by Dr. B Swathi, Principal, who spoke about the significance of Teachers Day followed by the speech of Prof. M R M Rao. As the speech concluded, the cultural program began with specially organized games for teachers by the students like musical chairs, tongue twisters, etc. After the games, a big cake was cut s a part of the symbolic celebration by the principal and faculty. Both staff and students shared the light moments with each other. A surprise gift of self-printed mugs was presented by students to each faculty as a memory of teacher day at the end of the day on a happy note. Lastly, the guest and the staff signed off autographs on an especially designed chart named as, TRADITIONAL MEMORY WALL.
